What is your history as a musician and artist?
When I was 15 I started playing guitar. while in high school I was in drum line so that’s where I learned a lot about theory and rhythms. Right after high school I joined a band that consumed a big part of my life. We signed deals, toured the U.S., and parts of Canada then we disbanded. Shortly after I decided I couldn’t live without creating music so I created Plcbo.
What is the story behind your single 'Bad Trip'?
BAD TRIP: That trip that you think about after a breakup. Giving your partner everything, while knowing that it’s not a good idea. “Bad Trip” was written after a life experience but modified somethings so I wouldn't give that person a special feeling after releasing.
What were some struggles you had in making this single?
After my band disbanded I fell into a hole of depression. One thing fell into another almost like I kept digging myself one. Financial problems came with it, the lack of resources to record myself also. Thankfully i figured things out and got myself together.
How are you doing while in quarantine?
I’m alright. It feels like normal days to me since I’m usually inside working. Although there are times when I’m wanting to go into the world but I get anxious about this virus. I’m a germaphobe to begin with so that doesn’t help. i’m caught up with shows on Netflix, so i’m currently browsing for more. What are you learning?
What's next for you?
I’m working on visuals for my song, I have a few more songs ready to be released but i’m just waiting on the right time to do so.
