Photography Exhibition Submission Guidelines

Open from March 22nd to April 22nd at midnight PST

• One image per photographer

• Attach image under 1 MB

• Submit as artistname_title

• In the email, include who you are, where you are from, and relevant social media handles

• “Music Photography Submission-(artist name)” in the email subject

• Selections will be made by April 29th at the latest

IF SELECTED

You will be notified via email correspondence with further details of drop off, size, printing, etc

While there is no cost to submit your image, the selected artists are asked to pay a one time fee of $10. This goes towards the production and promotion of the event.

What are we looking for?

Reckless is looking for images that depict underground music scenes with unique perspectives. We love emotion, energy, movement, and cinematic moments. While live photographs are welcomed, we also want to showcase all aspects of music photography, such as musician portraits, tour documentary, crowd shots, festivals, and backstage life.

When submitting the image, Reckless Magazine, or anyone associated with the publication, will not use the artists image without their permission. Submitting the image is for submissions only and will not be used for any other purpose.

Reckless Magazine is not responsible for pick up or drop of photographs. Photographers are responsible for the delivery of their photographs to drop off locations and pick up after the event ends.

Photographers from all over Southern California and beyond are encouraged to submit one image to this open theme group show.

RECKLESS MAGAZINE focuses on underground scenes and the photographers who document them. The types of scenes Reckless highlights are of music, fashion, documentary, skateboarding, portraits, surf, Queer life, and nightlife from all over the world.
