Fashion and portrait photographer Cleanne Viana invites you into Woah’s World, a networking space for artists. Cleanne talks about how Woah’s World opens the doors for creatives to build connections, showcase their work, and see a different side of the artistic process.

What is Woah's World?

Woahs World is a studio collaboration event held 3 times a year and it's an event where you can come in and get your pictures taken, network, and just have a good time in general. It's a place where you can meet new people and make a connection with them in the creative space and hopefully the connection goes a long way. The plus side to it is, while you're meeting new people and getting yourself out there, you can also get professional pictures taken by me, Cleanne Viana. @woah.cv (me). Photographers, videographers, fashion designers, models, and etc are all invited to come out and show their creative side to things.

Why did you decide to start this event? What inspired you?

I decided to start this event because I felt like we needed something to bring all the creatives together and just collaborate to form a stronger bond. I was inspired to do this because the times we live in right now, we need to be together more than ever and build each other up.

What's a typical event like?

Most people who attend are in the creative mediums of photographers, videographers, fashion designers, models, artists etc. What usually goes on is everyone gets their pictures taken and while people are getting their pictures taken, there's food and drinks provided and you can also look at clothes that fashion designers brought in and take pictures in their brand or you can buy a piece. While all of that is happening, you also have the opportunity to talk to other creatives and get your work out there and form connections.

Since it first started, what have you been learning?

Since I've started I've learned so many things and viewed so many different perspectives. This event gives you the opportunity to see a different side to the creative world. It shows you other peoples creative process, which is a beautiful thing to see. I've also learned that this is a great business opportunity, not just for me but for everyone.

Why is Woah's World important?

Woahs World is important to me and to everyone who attends because it gives you a chance to see how creatives work and how you can collaborate with them in the future. All around it brings people together and to me that fills me up and it's amazing to see.

What's next for Woah's World?

What's next for Woahs World is too hopefully get other collaborators to join the event such as fashion designers, models, artists, DJ's etc to not just make it a photoshoot but to have it be a more diverse event with a fashion runway, concert, and art exhibition while a photoshoot is still going on. In 2021, everyone will know Woahs World!
